The YES! children’s book series is a part of the Balance the Triangle initiative, a project examining the relationship between human nature, the institutions our distinctive human wiring has built, and the technologies that we invent. In accelerating fashion, technology is outpacing the abilities of our institutions and evolutionary wiring, and this mismatch is causing significant problems.

As biologist, E.O. Wilson infamously summarized, “The real problem of humanity is the following: We have Paleolithic emotions, medieval institutions, and godlike technology. And it is terrifically dangerous, and it is now approaching a point of crisis overall.”

The Balance the Triangle project seeks actionable strategies to adjust this human, societal, and technological mismatch.

On its Substack home, Olivia posts her Journal entries on news and events from her perspective gained after her journey through Equilibria. This occurred four years after the YES! series and are recounted in the upcoming Chronicles of Equilibria.
